Domain Age Checker

How old is a domain? Find the exact registration date, age in years and days, expiry date and registrar for any domain name.

Frequently asked questions

Why does domain age matter?

Older domains tend to carry more trust with search engines and buyers. A domain registered 10+ years ago signals stability, while a freshly registered name has no track record — useful context before buying a domain or trusting a website.

How is domain age calculated?

We look up the domain's registration (creation) date through public RDAP/WHOIS records and calculate the exact time from that date to today, shown in years, months and days.

Can domain age be faked?

The registration date itself cannot be faked — it comes from the registry. However, ownership and content can change hands, so an old domain is not automatically trustworthy. Check its history too.

What if the creation date is missing?

A few country-code registries do not publish creation dates. In that case the checker still shows the registrar, expiry date and name servers when available.
